Coffee makes me happy

I saw this picture while "surfing" the net today. I loved it and had to post it. It is totally me. Truth be told, I have only liked, no loved, coffee for about a two years. I always swore that I would never drink it. My Mom always said I would and I said not on your life. My mom and my Nana drink it religiously and not only in the morning. They have afternoon coffee as well....with Mable across the street. Doesn't that sound like fun? Well, it is and Mable and Nana together is good for the soul. They have been best friends for over 30 years and have been through alot together. Well, that's for another post. HA Anyway, back to my dislike of coffee.....I even hated the smell of it. I never in a million years thought when I was in my 30's that I would become my mothers child and drink a whole pot of coffee BY MYSELF. Well, I do and so do my girlfriends. And we love it and we are proud of it! HA Coffee rules. Coffee gives you energy. Coffee smells good. Coffee makes me happy....well, with Pralines and Cream creamer (thanks, Lacie!) So, I guess you could say I am a coffee addict and love every minute of it! And now I am waiting on my sister to adore it as well. Just give it time, sis and you will come to love it!

One of my favorite things about getting up in the morning is smelling the coffee making just waiting on my big old mug! I do love me some coffee. I remember when I started loving it too. I said the same thing as you and swore I'd never like it. I was about 31 and we were doing some remodeling on the house ( imagine that ) and the guys on the job asked me to make them some one morning. I sat down with them and drank cup and the rest is history. That pot never cooled off! I love my coffee BLACK no fancy creamers for me. But, that's another post too! C'mon Ash, never say never. You'll eat or drink those words. Love and miss you all too. So glad that Wordless Wednesday is over with Reid's picture. I couldn't bear it anymore.

No. It smells good but it tastes like dirt all grinded up with a hit of mud. I don't care if you put pralines creamer in it or not...thats like trying to cover up the poop smell with flower scented air freshner...then it just smells like poopie flowers.

ha ha ha ha.

So glad you decided to join the coffee club---just give Ashley time and she will be joining us. I'm glad you didn't wash away during all that rain. Have fun next week. Love you. Nana

Okay, I am waiting for the coffee bug to hit me, but I agree with Ashely and I am older than dirt so I don't think it will ever come for me. It does smell good, but I think it tastes like bitter dirt. Oh well...just give me chocolate. Love you, JoJo

Girl, we were all glad when you jumped onto the coffee wagon!

All this talk about coffee...I think I will walk briskly to the coffee pot and brew some!

Oh- Now that Trey and I are both coffee drinkers (decaff- Me, Caff-Trey) We have the pot on almost 24-7!

So glad you have joined the coffee lovin' crowd over the last few years--with your mom, Nana (and Mable), Reid AND your girlfriends, you were under tremendous peer pressure! :)

Love ya!

Oh Heather! I cried when you cracked and became a coffee lover... am I the only non-coffee drinking girl around?!?!! Ya'll did convince me that Raspberry Mocha Frapps are quite delicious though. Maybe this winter I'll be brave and try it hot! And, I have to say that Ash's comment made me laugh out loud and I give her a loud "Amen"!!!!! :) Love ya!

I'm not a coffee drinker but feel the same way about my diet coke. ;)

You all know I love coffee, but to those non coffee lovers I have a challenge.... Just try some with a lot of creamer, say Vanilla Caramel or some other tasty sounding flavor, and a heaping scoop of sugar! I guarantee you'll become a coffee lover too... and if you don't, you have my promise, my word, I'll take all the leftover off your hands! Hee,hee. So glad you came to love it girl!
