Prayers

Please pray for a friend of mine. She is losing her battle with breast cancer. She has fought the good fight but her body just can't take any more. She is a strong woman who fought this fight with grace and dignity for over 4 years. Please pray for peace for her and for her husband and 6 year old daughter, who doesn't understand why her mommy is so sick....or what is going on in their lives right now. They are going thru a storm right now and need our prayers. Thank you.

Praise You in This Storm
By: Casting Crowns

I was sure by now,God,
that You would have reached down and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again,
I say amen and it's still raining as the thunder rolls I barely hear
You whisper through the rain, "I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise the God who gives and takes away.

And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
no matter where I am
and every tear I've cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember when

I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
and raised me up again
my strength is almost gone
how can I carry on if I can't find You
and as the thunder rolls I barely hear
You whisper through the rain "I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls I raise my hands
and praise the God who gives and takes away

I lift my eyes unto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the maker of heaven and earth
I lift my eyes unto the hills
My help comes from the Lord,

the maker of heaven and earth

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

Heather, my precious. You are so wondrous that I can not believe you are mine. I am praying for your friend, her husband and precious child and family members. I can not even imagine what they are going through. May God continue to bless us all as a family unit. The world needs more praying friends like you. You are such an example! I LOVE YOU. Mom
